Hello everyone, I have an Iphone 3gs on stock 5.1 (06.15.00) with new bootrom and the 3,4,5 digit of the serial number is 135. The problem is that I orginally jailbroke with snowbreeze and then unlocked with ultrasnow but the phone would not recognize the sim card. After about 30 minuts the phone got stuck on apple logo so I had to restore. Because the Iphone would not recognize my chip I decided to re-jailbreak and unlock using the redsnow 10b6 method. Redsnow created a custom ipsw without baseband update. I restored and the Iphone was jailbroken with no problems at all. Then I applied ultrasnow fixer then ultrasnow. The Iphone just says "Searching..." then "No Service". My question is I have read blogs about the Iphone 3gs 5.1 (06.15.00) new bootrom having problems with jailbreaks that it is possible to permanently break the cellular radio for serial numbers 135 or higher. I am in fear this is what I did. Does anyone know if this is what happened? How can I check if the cellular radio is broken? If I didnt break it does anyone know how to make this model of Iphone recognize my SIM? Can I reflash this Iphones baseband? PLEASE HELP! |
