How to fix some mysterious problems.

I have been having a lot of trouble with installing BootLogo and a custom boot logo with it. I finally was able to install both but when I chose what I want to use as a boot logo, it just keeps telling me that it was unable to save my changes. I have tried rebooting and respringing and nothing seems to fix it. Can someone please help me?

Try running "dpkg -r org.chronic-dev.animate", in mobile terminal... See if that will help u uninstall...

yea but i just installed it. i kept getting an error in cydia about ImageMagick so i tweaked around a little bit and got it to install everything in cydia and after that i tried using it but it kept giving me the error about not being able to save my changes in BootLogo under Settings after you install it.

I'm not exactly sure, but did you just try and uninstall boot logo and re-installing it?

(09 Feb '11, 15:51) Shoots Shoots's gravatar image

Apple boot logo doesn't show up in Cydia for you?

(09 Feb '11, 15:56) Shoots Shoots's gravatar image

It shows up in cydia now. And you can still find it under installed packages, and click modify/ reinstall
