ya, if you do a quick search you'll find that everyone's having the same problem, at least the majority is.

The Greenpois0n jailbreak is still in beta so that's why there're some problems that still needs to be addressed......one of the major ones include the battery drain.

For me, i've had the same issue as well, especially when i used the RC5 b2 when it first came out for Windows. My battery drains like 10% while using Wifi for less than 5 minutes.

I suggest you either re-jailbreak again using RC5 b4 (the very latest version as of now that i'm typing this message) as I noticed it drains less battery than before (but still a lot though). OR, you can use the redsn0w jailbreak which of course is still tethered, but that's what most people have done as far as I know, they just went back to using redsn0w or downgraded to iOS 4.1 and wait for the iOS 4.2.1 jailbreaks from either redsn0w or greenpois0n to be fully fixed and completed.....

Personally I don't really like iOS 4.2.1 at all, aside from the battery drain problem, there're tons of cydia tweaks/apps that I used to use that are still not compatible with iOS 4.2.1, so i'm not finding this upgrade from iOS 3.1.3 worthwhile atm......
