Question

Anyone know how to enable Facetime on iPad 1 running iOS 5.0.1 ?

The method I used to use doesn't work on iOS 5; it breaks down at Step 7.

there's nothing yet to enable FaceTime on iOS 5.X, but it doesn't make sense on a iPad1 as there is no camera(s). Use iMessage instead.

FaceTime on iPad 1 makes a ton of sense, i used it a lot on iOS 4.3

imagine: you (with iPhone4) are at a store. you're not sure if the item you're about to buy is what your spouse wants, so you facetime to the iPad at home (with your spouse) up and down the isle until she says "that's what i'm looking for!"

i'm using Skype for now, instead. but not as integrated as FaceTime.
