How to fix some mysterious problems.

Okay, I no longer have any storage left. :( I synced to iTunes when I got it and I put all my music, apps, photos, etc. on my iPod. This is what it says in about:

Songs: 443

Videos: 10

Photos: 1,643

Applications: 62

Capacity: 6.4 GB

Available: 0 bytes

Version: 5.0.1 (9A405)

Does jailbreaking take a lot of storage?? Because this is what I have installed so far: Okay, nevermind I can't tell you because it says since there is "no space left on disk" and, "the package list could not be parsed or opened." I know I should unsync some of the songs, or photos but I don't want to. I need them.

Is there any other way, and does jailbreaking take a lot of storage? I don't have that many tweaks because I restored and rejailbreaked a couple days ago, So I don't want to RE-rejailbreak. How can I get MORE storage? I don't want to pay every year, I want to pay just once, for like 10GB? So, HELP?!

Jailbreaking does take some amount of storage. You have to fit Cydia on there along with your tweaks and their data.

You can't really get any more storage for your device without buying a new device.

You have too much media, and not enough iPod. You can't upgrade the flash drive, you have to buy a new iPod.

It is normal to have less available storage with each new iOS version because they are larger. JB'ing uses some, but not that much (maybe 500MB). JB'ing also increases the root filesystem size which decreases the available user (music, apps, photos, etc) area. IMHO, you have a lot installed on an 8GB iPod. You could save space by converting music at a lower bit-rate -- like 128.
