Help with jailbreaking and Cydia for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.

Pangu provides an iOS 9.0 untethered jailbreak. TaiG provides an iOS 8.4 and 8.3 untethered jailbreak.
Check @PanguTeam, @taig_jailbreak, @saurik, and /r/jailbreak for news and updates.
You can use Cydia Impactor if you need to un-jailbreak an 8.1-8.4 device without restoring.

Yes, through use of a custom IPSW. On a Mac you would use PwnageTool and on Windows you would use sn0wbreeze. pod2g said that greenpois0n RC5 will become open source in the not too distant future and both of the aforementioned tools will be able to generate custom 4.2.1 IPSW files.

Old bootrom devices should not have an issue with this, but with my new bootrom 3GS i have found that I needed to enter "pwned" DFU mode (using iREB) in order to restore to a custom firmware. On a Mac you can use the latest redsn0w to enter "pwned" DFU mode.
