Pangu provides an iOS 9.0 untethered jailbreak. TaiG provides an iOS 8.4 and 8.3 untethered jailbreak.

You can use Cydia Impactor if you need to un-jailbreak an 8.1-8.4 device without restoring.

How to fix some mysterious problems.

My iphone4 original version is 4.1. But I upgraded to 4.2.1 recently. Today I restored it to its original settings but version 4.1 doesn't show up.. I need to go back to 4.1 somehow in order to unlock it

You cannot go back a firmware version by restting. You can downgrade if you saved your SHSH blobs.

In order to restore to an older firmware, you first need to have the "SHSH blobs" for that firmware. You can only get these when that firmware is the current. You can save these SHSH blobs using Cydia. Also, you must download the firmware file for the firmware you want to restore to. Also, you need to be in DFU mode to downgrade the iPhone's firmware.
