Help with jailbreaking and Cydia for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.

I am having great problems with this! There are many times when I try to download a Cydia app but an error message appears telling me that it cannot make changes because of certain dependencies or conflicts which cannot be fixed automatically. This appears on the page after you hit install and it wants you to confirm. However, multiple times it will either say: " Depends Firmware >= 3 " or " Depends Firmware >= 4 ". I can understand this means my iPod touch must have firmware equal to or higher than the one shown. But my firmware is 4.3.3. Please tell me why this is happening and how to fix it.

If it worked before it's probably just a problem with the repo you're trying to download from. Give it a few hours and it should work fine.

Do you mean to just keep Cydia on and wait? I have unjailbroken and regain token many times all with the same result. However I never kept the Cydia app on my iPod for very long. I would install it using www.jailbreakme.com, but after a few hours I would uninstall it. Are you saying I should just keep on my iPod and wait?
