The question has been closed for being "Not jailbreak-related, and unsolvable without a time machine." by spockers, 27 Sep '11, 00:31

Once the password entry maximum has been reached, you have to sync with the computer that was originally used to setup the phone. This is a security measure so that if someone steals your phone, they can't simply sync it in iTunes and access your data. If you don't have, or can't use the original computer, you're going to have to take a trip to the Apple store.

You can run iFaith 1.3.2 to dump your current SHSH blobs, but you cannot retrieve data from a Disabled iPhone.

You can only RESTORE it.

not sure why this is disabled? iFaith certainly isnt going to help with that, plus the latest version of iFaith is 1.3, but that doesnt matter. If you are stuck in recovery there is no way to get the data off the phone.

My guess is lose your data for a phone or keep an unaccessable data on an unaccessable phone

I don't think he's talking about a data plan. If I'm correct, he means the information stored on the phone.

permanently disabled iPhone 4. which says "iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes" i need to get photos and videos from the phone. The original computer which i synced it with doesn't help. I have 2 computer and don't remember which one was that i synced it with,on one of them i had hard drive which crashed so i installed new one, so basically when i am connecting to iTunes on both computer it says "enter your pass code before connecting to iTunes" but on the phone there is no keypad to enter pass code, it says only "iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes"

So far nothing works.

  1. I tried iFaith to dump SHSH blobs, but later found out that building IPSW is only for restoring, that it will not retrieve my data.

  2. I tried iPhone Browser but it doesn't see my device

  3. i did not try this yet, not sure how to do this

any suggestion, is there any body who have gotten data back from disabled iPhone? i will pay if anybody can do that for me , please help me, i will really appreciate it $$$$

"iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes" means you have exceeded the allowable number of times to enter the passcode. The only option is to place device in dfu mode, restore and set up as new phone. But before doing so, if unit is jailbroken, you may try to manually backup files using ssh. SSH into the iPhone and go to /private/var/mobile/Library. Copy to computer the addressbook, sms, notes, mail and contacts folders which contain the database (*.db) files. For photos, copy to computer the files in /var/mobile/Media/DCIM/.

After restore, you may then manually SSH back the db files.

With no backup in iTunes and never been synched and no way to ssh, say goodbye to your data.

The data is on the phone memory. and since it is a memory card or whatever it called, there should be a way to retrieve data as it is possible from HDD memory. i just need to get to right person.
