My old iPhone 3G has had the sim slot burn up. I got a different SIM from AT&T and the phone still reports No Sim. Thus, I cannot activate in iTunes post restore. Hacktivating with a jailbreak for some reason interferes with XCode. Is there a way to skip/spoof the activation in iTunes without doing a jailbreak? |

You can try and use SAM (check our FAQ for details) to remove the hacktivation, not sure if you can activate afterwards using SAM also but it's worth a try, if re-activating with SAM doesn't work, then there is another way, add the repo http://cmdshft.ipwn.me/apt/ and the install Push Doctor, this should install a unique set of activation push certificates. |
