How to fix some mysterious problems.

I know this might not be a technical "jailbreak" questions, but I feel it definitely pertains to jailbreak-ing as I am having problems to perform a successful jailbreak because of this. I upgraded my iTunes to version 10.x and I am trying to revert back to a previous version but I have no idea how to. Every time I delete the currently installed version and its affiliates, I get a Lib/plist error. Even installed AppCleaner to completely remove it, and no luck.

Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Reason I need to downgrade is uhh because, lets just say the current iTunes version won't support the iOS of my device. -__-

If your current iTunes 10.x is 10.2.2 or higher then it should be able to support "restoring" your iPhone to any iOS version that is currently available and autgorized by Apple.

Have you tried to restore, and if you did then what error did you get, the errors usually have a number associated with them.

Oh, if the iOS is being downgraded, then best to do that after placing your phone in DFU mode and restore from there. Do you know how to get into DFU mode?

Why are you on that version of itunes, it's only available for registered Devs, is this another iOS5 beta problem, no other reason to be running that version of itunes I guess.
