Error 9 is a bit of weird one, is the firmware downloaded via itunes?, exactly when does the error show, before, during or after restore?, are you on windows, have you tried restoring on a Mac? have you tried a local restore using TSS server for the signing, I'm not saying anything it's gonna work, just throwing ideas out there for you to try. |

reboot your computer and try a different usb port. |

@venus - yes the FW dwnloaded in itunes itself..the error shows after and im using windows 7,so far i didnt try to restore in MAC cause seldom people uses here in philippines..im not quite sure about the TSS server cause im not familiar yet with that..T_T @mac - yes i did try all of those even reinstall itunes..tried to another computer but in win7 |

Usually error 9 is hardware, if you have tried differenmt USB port and a different USB cable and still getting error 9, rthen turn your iPhone back to Apple for warranty replacement, if not under warranty i would suggest you sell the parts off on ebay, i think you can make enough money to buy another one ;-) seriously just check the iPhone parts prices on ebay its crazy, the parts if put together would cost more that the iPhone itself!! |

im not in warranty anymore =( and im not sure if theres a lot of ebay buyers in philippines |
