i tried to jailbreak my iphone 4 16gb 4.2.1 according to read me file. jailbreak failed and the phone is not able to power on. please any solution?

you have bricked your iphone, charge it for a few hours, then plug it into itunes and restore it.

It's not bricked. Bricked means completely dead, impossible for a user to recover.

Your device is most likely still in DFU, just hold the power and home buttons down together until the apple logo appears, if it doesnt place it in DFU then restore and retry the jailbreak. did you use mac or windows?

Sound like you got the device in DFU mode. You can always try the jailbreak again.

To get out of DFU mode: 1. plug in to computer (helps) 2. hold both the power and the home button until you hear the normal sound you get when plugging the device in to the computer 3. press the home button once 4. the device should now be booting up
