How to fix some mysterious problems.

Hello All,

I have an Iphone 3G, recently upgraded to iOS 4.2.1 with the latest version of Skype. I have it jailbroken with custom firmware and with the multitaking feature enable.

The problem is that it does not keep my skype connected while ruining in background with the native method. Everytime I send it to the multitasking bar it goes offline. It also has backgrounder installed, but I want to use the native method so it will have the notifications.

I've google this problem but there is not much information.

I'd appreciate any help.

You know Skype detects that your iPhone is jailbroken and on the first run it tells you that it is not supported on jailbroken devices, it sounds as though it also knows its on an iPhone 3G and should completely shutdown instead of running in the background.

I found your problems. First if all, Skype knows what device you have so if you set backgrounding to native it won't work. Second, when Backgrounder says "Native", it means Apple native (for Apple apps) not 4.x native.
