How to fix some mysterious problems.

Hello. IIRC at the beginning of JBing 8.4 I read on r/jailbreak, that you should be installing this iTunes version:

When I want to watch a video in iTunes (what i really don't do normally (thx vlc)), it says video playback is not supported on my computer.

Unfortunately I didn't know why do install the alternate version in the first place. To fix the 20% bug?

So do I have to install this alternate version to successfully JB 8.4 with TaiG 2.3.1?

Thank you.

The newest version of iTunes does not have the necessary drivers for TaiG. You have 2 options:

-You can download iTunes for older video cards and run it over your existing version to fix this.

-You can uninstall iTunes and reinstall version iTunes 12.0.1 that works with TaiG. Uninstall in following order:

2)Apple Software Update

3)Apple Mobile Device Support

5)Apple Application Support (64-bit)

6)Apple Application Support (32-bit)

Then run the iTunes 12.0.1 installer. TaiG will work.

NOTE: If your operating system is 32-bit TaiG should work regardless of the version.

Thank you very much. I just wasn't sure if I did need to install it on 2.3.1 too as I haven't read anything about in very recent times and didn't see it in this site's go-to tutorials. Thank you.
