How to fix some mysterious problems.

Hey, so I was previously jailbroken on iOS 7.1.2 and recently lost it during a restore because I was automatically updated to iOS 8.3. My friend has an iPhone still running iOS 7.1.2 so if I jailbreak both phones, download ifunbox for the computer, would I be able to copy and paste the filesystem of iOS 7.1.2 to my iOS 8.3 and than run 7.1.2 on my own phone? And if so, I assume I would need to not move certain files such as serial number and carrier bundles (which is what caused me to need to restore in the first place). Thank you for any help or suggestions you have!

No, it doesn't work that way. Why not just jailbreak 8.3?

I plan on it I just prefer iOS 7.1.2. More tweaks. It's upsetting I lost all the stuff I set up though. Thanks!
