How to fix some mysterious problems.

Hi. Greetings from Spain.

I own an IPAD3. Jailbroken. Working only with purchased Apps and Tweaks from Cydia (not so many tweaks, as I do not want to have issues with IOS, as I do not want to restore tom 8.3.

The issue I have is that I have installed the latest Itunes Version, but my Ipad is not recognized now by Itunes, so I cannot make any Backup.

I jailbroke my Ipad3 using TAIG 1.2.0. Can you tell me how can I install now the taig 1.3? Should I download it and run it? What should I do now to make my Ipad "visible" by my new Itunes version?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards.

Completely uninstall itunes and all it's components and reinstall. Google how to do it.

Well, thanks for your answer. I already did it. But it continues giving me problems (doesnt´recognize taig 1.2.0).

As you know, Taig 1.2.1 was issued in order to correct this problem of comptability. My only question is "How can I install Taig 1.2.1, when my ipad is already jailbroken with Taig 1.2.0?

Shall I run the latest verison of Taig 1.2.1, and simply re-jailbreak my ipad?

Thanks in advance.

Don't know what you are attempting to do or where you got your wrong infos but facts are,1.2.1 was not issued to correct 1.2.0 and no you cannot rejailbreak a device already jailbroken.

@conduende The TaiG update you're talking about addressed an issue where TaiG wouldn't work with a particular iTunes version on 64-bit Windows. It has nothing to do with iTunes recognizing your device, or iTunes "recognizing taig 1.2.0," whatever that means. Once you are jailbroken, TaiG updates, if any, are done through cydia, on the device.
