How to fix some mysterious problems.

Taig was available in 2 versions: version 1.3.0 for iOS 8.2 beta and 1.2.1 version for iOS 8.1.2. As I downloaded version 1.2.1 from, I noticed that it was in Chinese and thought that I should use version 1.3.0 and it would support ios 8.1.2 as well. Hence, I got version 1.3.0 and jailbroke ios 8.1.2 (was in English). After jailbreak I noticed that the cydia wants to remove taiG ios 8.2 beta untether from the phone when I try to get cydia substrate. Is there a way I can replace this package with the one for iOS 8.1.2 and retain my jailbreak or do I have to leave jailbreak and move to the public version of 8.2?

Add the source to cydia and see if you can install the 8.1.x untether.

Oh my god. Thanks man. I had lost all hope. I just installed the package from this source and it automatically deleted the other one. Now I can install tweaks. Yippee. Thanks brother.

Glad to hear that worked, I wasn't 100% sure it would. Enjoy. :D
