How to fix some mysterious problems.

My 5S on 8.1.2 has begun to use up battery crazily since last night. I have had no problems since I jailbroke more than a month ago. It turns quite warm when it does so. I've used DetailedBatteryUsage to find out that locationd (background activity) has used 80% of the battery in the last 24 hours. My location services have been off for almost all of this time. When the problem first occured, I had installed Safari Downloader and SleekCode from the default repos. Both of them have since been uninstalled. I had also changed my wallpaper to one of the live wallpapers in the HiddenWallpapers tweak that I had installed some time ago but not used. I've changed that back too. I was also trying to install an emulator from but I cancelled and uninstalled it.

locationd seems to be the clear culprit and I would prefer not to restore backup.

Problem fixed.

Solution was to log out of icloud then login again. Hope this helps someone else with this problem.
