How to fix some mysterious problems.

Is there a mobile substrate without disable option? Or can some one make a cydia tweak? I have 5 iPhones and I have power down enhancer on all of them so the phones can't be turned off if lost or stolen. But what good is all these tweaks to guard against theft if someone can just turn them off. Also if you think that the average person does not know how to do this you will be wrong. I have 3 daughters that know how to do it after just spending 30 sec on Google.

Nothing you can do if the thief is smart enough, they remove the sim immediately anyways. Also you can turn it off by holding power + home buttons and releasing both when screen goes black.

I know, but I need to disable the volume up on boot option for more than just lost or stolen.

As far as lost or stolen goes that's what iCloud lock is for . There are a number of tweaks to hide and or lock certain apps or tweaks or even settings. Maybe get your daughters to google them for you xD

You guys are a bunch of morons, I know everything you talking about plus other crap you have not said yet. I want to NOT have the option to use the volume up button to disable mobile substrate. I have girls with dip shits like you chasing after them, so I have different tweaks to keep track of the phones and to disable things. Also I have locked apps on my phone so that when I hand my phone to a friend they can't just go through things I don't want them in. Being able to disable mobile substrate that easy makes a lot of cydia apps useless. Some of those apps I have paid for. And yes I know that I can install an older version of mobile substrate to get around it but I mainly wanted to know if there was a better way or a tweak to turn off the volume up on boot option. I'm asking in a help forum to get help with something not dumb ass answers. And no I don't read my kids texts or shit like that. I have tweaks on there phone so that I can take things away without taking their phones away. no days I believe kids need phones mainly for emergencies. So either help or shut up. I use iblacklist so they can't text or call the boyfriends or friends when they get bad grades, don't do their homework, clean their rooms. Yes I'm a parent that is active in his kids lives.

You ask for help and call Us morons isn't us your daughters are running rings round. Now be polite or seek help elsewhere. There is no way to disable the volume up trick. Installing an older version won't help you it'll just stop most of your tweaks from working generally. Here's a better option if your not trying to spy on your kids ...... Just don't jailbreak and trust them.

Ps your daughters must be very old if it folks like us chasing them ... I choose the easy route I jst take their devices away from them .

Hey @cobalt6d, it's not very nice to calls us morons when we're trying to help answer your question; almost everyone here is a volunteer who donates their time to try to help other people. Please be polite here or don't participate here.

Cydia Substrate is not designed to be a way to control other people's phones (it's designed to help people customize their own phones), so it makes sense that it doesn't really work well for that purpose. The theft prevention features available via Cydia aren't supposed to be guaranteed to be 100% effective; they're just prevention tools that can be helpful for the average situation. iOS has a lot of built-in parental restriction and anti-theft features that may be more useful than trying to use Substrate tweaks for these purposes.
