How to fix some mysterious problems.

I am wondering whether for iOS 8, there is a cydia tweak that allows you to "pin" an app to the background or force it to stay there, regardless of whether you may leave that app and use other apps.

There is one app that I would prefer to just permanently take up a bit of ram space and stay there, rather than having to occasionally wait for the initialization.

I never fully understood what backgrounder did back in the days, but I believe it did this (or at least something similar to this). I am not a developer or anything, but I believe something similar is done with the phone app or music app.

Is there such a tweak out there?

I have just asked this question the other day, it's Background Manager but I don't know about iOS 8 compatibility. AFAIK it's not compatible yet, and there is no alternative either.

Background Manager doesn't work on iOS 8, and the developer has stated that they aren't going to update it. Fortunately @angelXwind has said she'll make one if she has time.

Thank you for all your responses. This is great to know. I hope @angelXwind gets to make one.

I guess that NOT closing the app will leave it in memory (either active or inactive), while Background Manager is not iOS 8 compatible...

Just a thought though...

True but y'know ram ain't infinite. After a time, least recently used apps get deleted from that memory.
