So I tried download FastForward and it installs correctly and resprings. But then when I look at the home screen there is no FastForward app. I tried reinstalling many times and there are people on here saying it is iOS 8 compatible.. so what should I do?

If you're sure it has been installed properly but no icon is present, you can try accessing it through spotlight search. Maybe it is just a compatibility issue. Also, update to iOS 8.1 while you can, 8.0 is nowhere as stable.

It's compatible, I'm running it on 7.1.2 and 8.1. He should restore to 8.1 while he still can, definitely.

If you are on iOS 8 then go to the pangu app then click on restart springboard or respring if that doesn't help then reboot your iDevice!
