How to fix some mysterious problems.

So, i downloaded the Android lock XLT off of cydia, and some one was playing with my iPod in school, and changed the pass code, i'm not sure who, or if they know, but I am locked out of my ipod, Is there any way that i can re-enter it without restoring? I have the 4G ipod, running 4.2.1 if that helps.

This is for the standard passcode setting, I don't know if it applies to Android lock XLT.

If you installed OpenSSH, you can. Use an SSH client like WinSCP to connect to your iPod. Go to var/mobile/Library/Preferences and delete Then go to/var/Keychains/ and delete keychain-2.db. Reboot by holding home+power until you see the Apple logo.

If you didn't install OpenSSH on your iPod (or even if you did) you may be able to do the same thing with i-Funbox.

Did you get back into your iPod? SBSettings doesn't really have anything to do with it, but you can get it from cydia, just search, it's a basic package.

No, but when I looked with funbox or what its called, i could not find the pattern that I lost.

See my answer above, I edited it. I had mistaken the parental controls PIN for the lock passcode. You'll have to delete 2 files to get in. If I were you, I'd be kicking somebody's ass for changing the passcode, they'd have to know your original code to change it, and that means you told them what it was, so you should know who it was.

I deleted the files, and tried holding the home+power button, and when it reboots, the android lock is still there, and when my ipod registers back in with funbox, the files that i deleted, are still there:/

The files will be re-created on boot, but if it were the normal passcode, that passcode lock would be gone. This tells me that the android lock is something different, and is stored elsewhere. What you need to do is find a way to delete Android lock XLT, but I don't know where in the filesystem you could find it.

So, do you think that if i searched and deleted anything having to do with the android lock then it could possibly resolve it?
