How to fix some mysterious problems.

Hi does anyone know how to check if my iPad Air iOS7.0.4 autodownloaded the next update? I didn't install it and jailbroke it after i bought is. But it does indicate there is an update wich my iPhone doesn't after jailbreaking. And i seem to miss at least a gig memory.

So i would like to find it so i can delete it with iFile. Or get rid of it with Putty or WinSCP

This should work. Please review before proceeding.

Open Settings > General > Software Update
Tap Install Now, if you see Downloaded package.
There will be a prompt that says "Verifying update...".
Wait until this prompt disappears, there will be a spinning wheel on a black background. Immediately press and hold both of the power and home buttons at the same time.
DO NOT release the power and home buttons for about 10 seconds.
Your device will reboot. It's done. The automatically downloaded firmware will have been deleted.

PS. The Update is installed only after you Accept Apple's License Agreement.

Thnx, i never got around to it but now that i try it can't find the update. Probably because its already jailbroken. i uninstalled the hide update tweak but that doesnt do the trick. But i jailbroke the ipad after it downloaded the update so i'm missing about 1-1,5 gig in memory. With no way to delete or find it... hopefully a iOS 8 jailbreak will be available soon.
