appears to have worked for me.. chrome on iOS 7.0.6 iPhone 4S (above comment)

(03 Apr '14, 04:34) JuergenWest ♦ JuergenWest's gravatar image

And this is via Safari.

I will uninstall chrome and reinstall!

Is there a preferences file that i can delete?

(03 Apr '14, 04:38) vilopjdwebreg vilopjdwebreg's gravatar image

I rarely use chrome on iOS but seems to work fine.. renders differently than Safari but works..

(03 Apr '14, 04:45) JuergenWest ♦ JuergenWest's gravatar image

Even after removing and reinstalling chrome, it still does not work.

I guess I will have to settle for Safari on this device.

Very strange though!

This happens on the ipad using safari too. I just copy my typed comment, refresh page and paste and click comment. Works everytime.

This comment has been written in the answer field, and converted into a comment after...

Taping the "More" button and than choosing "convert to comment"...

Might help to get from here to there...

Lets try an answer to comment?

(03 Apr '14, 08:46) vilopjdwebreg vilopjdwebreg's gravatar image

This comment has been written in Chrome in the "Answer" (and converted to a comment after) field because the "Add a comment" option indeed does not appear in Chrome...

Looks like it worked vilo!

(03 Apr '14, 08:46) eYe-I-aïe eYe-I-a%C3%AFe's gravatar image

No it does not work trying to convert answer to comment in Chrome!

(03 Apr '14, 08:48) vilopjdwebreg vilopjdwebreg's gravatar image

So how did you add the one where you say "Lets try an answer to comment" ?

On a side note, I am still in Chrome and, after I converted my first answer to a comment, interestingly enough, the button "Add a comment" now appears in Chrome...

Think you need a certain amount of karma to convert answers to comments

(03 Apr '14, 09:09) Tilerone Tilerone's gravatar image

Converted it in Safari.

@Tilerone - you can convert answers to comments, based upon my Karma it works.

I must be thinking about other peoples answers then

(03 Apr '14, 09:44) Tilerone Tilerone's gravatar image
