How to fix some mysterious problems.

I'm trying to debug my app with Xcode 5 on a jailbroken iPhone 4S running iOS 7. I followed pretty much every possible guide online; modifying signing flags, signing with ldid, using different methods for installing the app, and so on. Unfortunately, not a single one has ever helped solving this issue.

Running the app from Xcode installs it, making it possible to launch it from the SpringBoard, but it instantly quits as soon as it opens, and Xcode shows the message "failed to get the task for process X". Attempting to attach Xcode's debugger to another process results in a "connection lost" message.

Thanks in advance to anyone helping me out.
