Help with jailbreaking and Cydia for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.

iOS 8.3, 8.2, and iOS 8.1.3 are not jailbreakable. There is no way to downgrade from iOS 8.3, 8.2, or 8.1.3 to earlier versions.

After the jailbreak, I tap the app and it shows just a white screen and nothing happens. I tried deleting and re-downloading and re-installing multiple times.

It's meant to happen... If you follow the process good, you'll have a Cydia icon instead of evasi0n, that app just triggers the exploit

Right, well, it seems to just exit the jailbreak towards the end of the installation. I don't get the Cydia icon when it just abruptly exits the install.

you have to keep the program (evasi0n) open on your pc/mac till they actually tell you it's done, so don't disconnect your device till the button says exit, or did you had the exit button?

I never had an exit button. My phone was still connected when the installation exited by itself.

huh weird... Maybe try on another pc? or run as an admin (windows)

I did run as admin. I'm going to try restoring my iPhone before trying again. Let's see what that does.

Restore. Re jail break Press evasi0n icon only when told. Device will then reboot several times.
