How to fix some mysterious problems.

If I open my Settings app, and scroll to the bottom where the app specific settings are located (for example the "Nike + iPod" settings), there are no icons, just the app names. The icons will sometimes show up if I scroll up and down again, put then they just disappear again the next time I launch the settings app.

I am on iphone 5 7.0.4, jailbroken with evasi0n 7 1.0.1.

You probably installed a,tweak that is not fully compatible with iOS 7.

Uninstall your tweaks that you installed on the day the problem started until you find the cause.

I don't believe so. I am an experienced jailbreaker (and linux user).

The packages I have installed are: SwipeSelection BiteSMS iFile FlipControlCenter FlipSwitch prefs loader activator Cydia Substrate (and deps) f.lux FLEX 2 and almost every console package from Saurik's repo.

Also, all my paid tweaks are officially purchased.

Did you find a solution to this problem? I had the same issue and repeatedly restored and rejailbroke and finally found the cause for my issue.

I restored to fix my issue and it hasn't occurred again. How did you fix your problem, or what caused it? (By the way, your post should have been a comment, not an answer, please convert).

I restored a couple times and no longer have the problem after figuring out what was causing the problem. For me it was iBlank installed from Cydia. Did you have it installed also? There's an option in iBlank for IOS7 to restore the app icons in settings and NC.

iBlank was my problem as well! Thank you @claytonb

Same issue with the iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak. Since 7.1.2 will probably be out and compatible on Friday, I'll jailbreak and get all of my tweaks setup first, and then install my apps. For this jailbreak, I set my tweaks up AFTER everything else.
