HELP When I try to jail break, it does all its stuff and the green pois0n apple appears, but no cydia. Now when i turn on my iPod, when not connected to a computer, the green apple icon still appears. I have an iPod 4 4.2.1 update. |

yes, the ipod boot but not appear the green pois0n apple how? not get the green icon that says loader in my ipod. I'm not sure that the iPod 2g is capable of animated boot logos, but you can install cydia via redsn0w. Detailed instructions here. Assuming it's not an MC model; if it is, you'll need to use sn0wbreeze or pwnagetool, or just retry GP. The MC model is new bootrom, that's why it gets a mention in Redsn0w blog posts, it will still jailbreak it but only tethered, as opposed to non-MC models that Redsn0w would jailbreak untethered, so need for GP for those. Quite sure Pwnage 4.2 doesn't support ipt2g either |

Try installing Cydia via redsn0w. Maybe it jailbroke, but Loader app didn't appear.) Worst-case scenario: greenpois0n didn't jailbreak, and you will be tethered with redsn0w. Then you just try greenpois0n again. Else restore and use sn0wbreeze/PwnAge or use 4.1/4.2b3 SHSH blobs to Jailbreak Monte (obsolete untether with redsn0w). @venusanann What should I correct on my post because I'm not familiar with MC bootroms. Not sure what you're on about, what post, there are two different ipod touch models being talked about in this thread, I was more getting a discussion going with spockers on the ipt2g |
