How to fix some mysterious problems.

So I have jailbroke once before but I'm not very savvy when it comes to troubleshooting! I'm sure somebody else has had these problems, but Im not sure if they've had all at the same time, and I haven't found them in previously posted questions. So 1st problem that when I try to use the iphone search bar, my phone crashes and comes back in safe mode. If I respring it goes back to normal until I try again. 2nd issue that quite a few apps won't open (camera, Facebook, Twitter, photo album, and a few others as well) I'll click them and they start to open, but then they quit and I'm back at homescreen. If I reboot my phone they work for awhile, but eventually they begin crashing again. I've deleted almost every tweak and utility I had, and any additional repos I had downloaded. I don't know if I should re jailbreak which I'm nervous to do. I don't want to restore and re-jailbreak only to find myself with the problems everyone else is having (stuck on bootloop or frozen at evasion website) any help would be awesome guys! Thanks and I hope everyone is enjoying their jailbroken devices.

Most of the people who are getting stuck on the bootloop/Apple logo are because they run the jailbreak via an OTA update to iOS 7; where they should actually "Restore" using iTunes. Other people may run into these problems too, but usually because a minor mistake they made, e.g. unplugged iPhone from computer when evasi0n displayed "Done", upgraded their jailbroken iOS 5/6 to iOS 7 via iTunes and many other reasons.

If you do exactly what you did when you first jailbroke, or follow the guide thoroughly you will not run into issues. :)

The spotlight issue is because of winterboard. Even after you rejailbreak, you will have that problem

Installing Winterboard is known for crashing spotlight search, if you've uninstalled every tweak my own suggestion would be to start again but dont use unsupported apps. Use my steps if you like.

1.Backup iphone then restore like this: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414

2.Unplug from itunes before it prompts you to restore from backup or at this point

3.Set up idevice on the device itself until you reach home screen

4.Load evasion and connect then jailbreak the device

5.Once complete load cydia, select 'user' and let it do its thing

6.Once all of that is done, re-load itunes and then you can restore from the earlier backup.

Ok so I've decided to restore and re-jailbreak. First I want to say thanks for taking the time to help me out. Sorry for needing further instruction but I just want to make sure I don't do anything to screw up my phone or keep myself from Jailbreaking again. So I connect to iTunes and do a restore? That will remove the jailbreak and return it to the state of my last previous backup right? After that, do I need to back up my phone again or just go straight back to the jailbreak? And is it necessary to download evasi0n7 again? Or will the download I already have be ok? Thanks again for the help!

Remove winterboard and reinstall the apps worked on a similar issue.
