Hello, i have this huge issue with my iphone. Here's what happened: I made the update on the 4.3 iOS, without knowing that it stil didn't have the unthetered jailbreak for it. So my SIM card wasn't recognized. I tried numerous things when i finally had the great idea (not so great actually) to restore the past configuration through iTunes. The configuration was successful, but then it asked it to insert a valid SIM card (in this case i'd need the SIM card that came with my iphone, but i think i threw it away, because i didn't know what was that for) and i don't have one. It's stuck on the screen that has the iTunes logo and the USB cable, with only the option of making emergency calls. My question is: 1) If i just insert a valid SIM card, from someone else, will it work to at least become an "iTouch" until the jailbreak for 4.3 iOS is launch? ps: I'm from Brazil, in case anyone needs this kind of info. Sorry that I don't understand the comments in portuguese. But yes, you can activate your phone with the SIM card of anybody else, it just needs to be from the carrier your phone is locked to. After activation you would have to jailbreak and unlock it. For the jailbreak, there is a tethered jailbreak with sn0wbreeze beta available, if you want that. And there is no unlock available that would be compatible with 4.3 - not even if you remain with baseband 1.59. So yes, it would just work as an iPod touch then. In case you saved your SHSH blobs, you can downgrade the firmware and jailbreak it then. |
Faça o hacktivate. Isso ativa o seu iPhone sem precisar de um cartão SIM. Mas isso requer o Sn0wBreeze/PwnAge Tool. Não sei se eles já suportam o iOS 4.3. Mesmo que sim, você teria que restaurar. Faça uma pesquisa detalhada no Google.
Já fiz pesquisas e mais pesquisas no Google. Uma resposta mais confusa que a outra. Como eu faço a restauração? É aquela pelo iTunes?
Sim. Mas você tem que seguir instruções EXATAS. E você não pode mais voltar pro 4.2.1 (o que eu faria) ao não ser que você tenha os SHSH blobs. Você usou que meio de jailbreak no 4.2?
Uma coisa a mais: Você fez unlock (usou o ultrasn0w?)
Não tinha feito nenhuma atualização até agora justamente por medo de alguma cagada acontecer. Não sei qual versão eu tinha. sei que a baseband é (ou era, se não mudou com a gambiarra toda que tentei fazer) 05.16

É para desbloquear, por exemplo, nos EUA você só pode usar as operadoras AT&T e Verizon. Com ultrasn0w, você pode ter da TIM, se houvesse sinal lá. Mas aqui no Brasil o iPhone já vem com o que chamamos de "factory unlocked". Não se preocupe com a baseband. De qualquer modo, sem unlock eu não sei o que pode estar errado. Pesquise no Google "hacktivate 4.3" e veja o que você acha. Sinto não poder ajudar mais.
