How to fix some mysterious problems.

I have an iPhone 3GS running iOS 6.1.3 that I jailbroke using redsn0w. However, for ultrasn0w to work I had to alter the baseband to 06.15.00

I read somewhere that to remove the jailbreak I would have to use custom firmware or something. I'm not very experienced with jailbreaking - so how would I go about this?

Thanks :)

Download redsn0w from

Download 6.0 IPSW from here Plug phone in, open redsn0w, go to extra- select IPSW, in new window navigate to downloaded 6.0 IPSW, click ok, wait for confirmation that IPSW is processed. Go back, choose jailbreak, when prompted tick ONLY downgrade from ipads baseband. Be patient. Wait till it is done. Oh, no worry, 6.0 will not affect your device, it is ONLY for redsn0w to identify it properly.

EDIT : Above action will downgrade your baseband and will allow it to be unlocked with ultrasn0w and will allow it to be used with 6.x.x, however if you wish to fully restore device to remove all traces of jailbreak, after downgrading baseband you can do so in itunes .
