Hi All,

I get a kernel panic when I'm trying to boot/restore an iPhone 3GS with iOS 5.0.1, old BR and baseband 6.15.00. The error says:

panic(cpu 0 caller 0x89a8c774): "Synchronous parity error"
Debugger message: panic
OS version: not set yet
Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 13.9.9: Wed ...
iBoot version: iBoot-1537.9.55
secure boot?: YES
Paniclog version: 1
Kernel slide: 0x0...
Kernel text base: 0x89...

...
Task 0x80...: 1055 pages, 28 threads: unknown task
thread 0x80...
kernel backtrace: ....
...
panic: We are hanging here...e11 far:0x

So far, I have tried different combinations of restoring/booting/etc with iOS 4.1, 5.0.1, 5.1.1 and 6.1.3. I have also tried downgrading the baseband with redsn0w. I know that "Synchronous parity error" is an error thrown by the ARM processor. I don't understand if is related to the firmware or if the hardware is broken and thus not fixable.

Anyone?

Thanks!
