How to fix some mysterious problems.

okay i am new here guys so bear with me.

Okay here is the deal. I used Ifaith to have "signed 6.1 ipsw" using this CFW, I tried to restore on itunes and entered DFU mode. The restore was a success but unfortunately, the device was stuck in DFU mode. After restore, no boot up. Any third party application fails to boot up my device normally. Even redsn0w.

the device only reconnects to the computer whenever I enter DFU mode including "hard reset". Everytime I connect the device on the pc, itunes pops up showing that the device is in recovery mode. No charging or other things to show up in the device. DFU loop. The only thing to make my device to work back is to restore on OFW 6.1.2 ipsw.

The battery sucks on 6.1.2. As far as I evaluate all the IPSWs installed on my device (from 5.1 to 6.1.2), the 6.1 was the only one that makes my device last more than 2 days.

I really want to go back to 6.1. I am starting to get frustrated here. thanks guys if you can help me. Cheers.

@iH8sn0w has been around earlier this hour and hinted that the black screen issue is due to people using saved Cydia SHSH blobs. If you happen to have the blobs you saved yourself directly from Apple, using either TinyUmbrella or iFaith, be sure to use these and not ones from Cydia.

Unfortunately, i used cydia blobs and not ifaith blobs this is not a good start. Will try any luck.

I dunno man, Did you use PWNED DFU, not just regular? PWNED DFU helps the device restore with a CUSTOM firmware. try to turn it off by holding the power and home button untill the apple appears twice, then let go. Then, plug it into your computer and use redsn0w to enter PWNED DFU. Good luck!

No man, I tried already that. Even redsn0w detects as soft dfu. I cannot enter DFU because it only reconnects the phone whenever i try to.

Since you already have custom ipsw 6.1 stitched with blobs, try restoring once again using redsn0w, extras-even more-restore. Please share if any errors you face.

what i suggest is restore to ios 6.1.2 set up a new device and then using redsnow restore your device with the custom firmware u made.. by doing so u will be able to get into dfu mode other things and also u can fix the recovery loop if u hve encountered

I got what I have to do. Thanks for the tip but ios 6.1.3 is out now so i may not probably restore to ofw ios 6.1.2.

Unfortunately, i cannot do it. I can't restore to 6.1.2 if everything mess up.

@12512, you can definitely restore to 6.1.2. Use ifaith(for factory unlocked phones)/sn0wbreeze(ifaith mode for sim lock phones) to create custom ipsw by stitching blobs and then restore using itunes or redsn0w. If you face specific issue, please share the details.
