Let me state first of all that i have the iphone 4S Since upgrading to iOS 6.1 and then 6.1.1, i've encountered heavy battery drain. Now i'm well aware of the reported issue causing the battery drain - supposedly this Exchange issue. This raises a question itself... if you do not use Exchange emails would this still affect battery drain that i'm current experiencing? I know it's early days yet but have any 4S owners noticed and improvement on battery life since upgrading to 6.1.2 and then JB'ing? Thanks. |

If it's not Exchange draining my battery (as not using it), then i'm puzzled as to what is causing the problem. I did a fresh restore and JB at 6.1 without syncing to an old backup i.e. just starting from scratch and also did the same when upgrading to 6.1.1 as i thought the latest update would cure my battery problem. The problem still exists. If upgrading to 6.1.2 isn't going to cure the problem, does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be? Thanks. |

I did notice the issue being resolved. I use Exchange and had to update to 6.1.2 I would lose 20% of my battery within 1 hour. Now I am at 95% for the same duration. |

I´m on 6.1.2 with evasi0n 1.4 (iphone 4s) and exchange. Almost 50% battery gone in 2 hours. |

I am using iOS 6.1.2 jailbroken with evasi0n 1.4 on my iPhone 4s, I found a big improvement in battery life by turning off the 3g when I am on wifi in my home network. If you have both 3g or LTE with an iPhone 5 and wifi on try turning off 3g or LTE and see if your battery life changes. |

me too i have a jailbroken ipad 2 (with evasion) iOS 6.1.2 my battery drain very fast |

Well i thought battery life has improved but been dreadful today. Down to 35% in around 8 hours and hardly used it much. Checked on the apple forums earlier and there seems to be quite a few complaining that 6.1.2 is even worse than 6.1 and 6.1.2 Well and truly stumped on this. Wish i hadn't bothered upgrading from my 5.1 JB now. |
