How to fix some mysterious problems.

My settings for tweaks are missing from the settings app. i tried re installing mobile substrate and preference loader I removed all the tweaks i installed after jailbreak and re installed some but the settings are still gone. I re installed zepplin and the carrier icon is the same as when I deleted it. The settings were all there the day before. Ipod touch 2g 4.2.1, used redsn0w-0.9.6b6, it was a fresh jailbreak.
