I was using 1.0.3221-72 on my iPT 1G with iOS 3.1.3. I just tried installing current version, 1.0.3366-1. It partly installs with an error message saying it requires iOS 4.x. It seems to run, but when I tried installing some updates, it gave a warning that Cydia was going to be damaged by the install (specifically, the required Cydia co-package, "essential", would be removed). I will have to try version 1.0.3222-73 which is the interim version between those two.

EDIT: I downgraded to 1.0.3222-73, but it didn't work. Then I downgraded to my original 1.0.3221-72 and it worked again. I'm wondering if 1.0.3222-73 didn't work because I was downgrading from a failed installation of an iOS 4.x version. Maybe if I upgraded to it...

EDIT2: Upgrading to 1.0.3222-73 didn't work. When I tried to run it, after about 15 sec it crashed SpringBoard. So I would say the answer to your question is 1.0.3221-72.
