Help with jailbreaking and Cydia for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.


How to jailbreak iOS 6.0-6.1.2 untethered on all iOS devices (and 6.1.3 tethered on older iOS devices).
Apple has released iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4; do not upgrade/restore (if you want to keep your jailbreak). You cannot downgrade/upgrade/restore to 6.1.2 using SHSH blobs on newer devices; older devices that can use SHSH blobs are iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch 4th gen. Learn more.

Cydia Upgrade?

I was running an ios 6.0.1 tethered jb before the release of evasi0n jb... installed the new evasion from cydia directly and found dat there are some packages to be upgraded in cydia... so i attempted upgrade... after the upgraded installed, my network disappeared and No Service or Invalid Sim shows up on the network bar... pls i need help on how i can go about this. besides, my wifi doesnt connect... am i in a big deep shit?

That's impossible...I think. After jailbreaking my device, I found out that there was only one package to be upgrade. That's evasi0n(I'm still confusing why there's a update about this...). After upgrade, there's nothing wrong. If there are more than one tweaks which will be updated. That must be the package you installed yourself. Some tweaks didn't prepared well for the iOS 6. Uninstall those tweaks and if there's nothing happened, you may have to restore your device.

thanks but can i have a solution to my wifi? i can connect to hotspots frm mobile devices (e.g. iphone4, htc) but cant connect to wifi created from a pc. it displays the available wifi ntwks and wen clicked on any of them, it connect but dont show the wifi connect sign on the device nor does it transfer/receive data
