How to fix some mysterious problems.

I have jailbroken my 4th gen iPod touch with greenpois0n for windows, and now after a week or so, mobile YouTube isn't working. When I go to, it just keeps redirecting between and (I don't know what comes after the underscore). Also, when safari tries to open the YouTube app, it just crashes and never loads the movie. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling apps that I've installed via cydia since the problem started. I also think greenpois0n is partly to blame because my 2nd gen iPod touch which I jailbroke a while ago with redsn0w has all the same packages installed but does not have this problem. Any solutions?

I think there is a fix for this, you can either use SAM and SAMPerfs to do proper activation check

or you can check for a tweak on Cydia called YouTube fix by @pushfix

I tried both, and unfortunately neither fixed YouTube. :( Would restoring and re-jailbreaking possibly fix it?

If you do so, make sure not to restore the backup stored in iTunes after restoring the firmware, that would possibly restore the settings causing the problems.
