What if apple releases 6.0.2 on purpose just to counter the jailbreak, so should I just update my iPad to 6.0.1 before they stop signing it

So it is possible for apple to purposely release 6.0.2 so that u can jailbreak it

6.0.2 already came and went (it was a Wi-Fi fix for iPhone 5/iPad mini only). I recommend you update to 6.1.

um. 6.1 is the current iOS. and the jailbreak will work on all 6.x. Stay where you are, or upgrade. your choice.

EDIT: If you're on 5.1.1 I would definitely restore/upgrade. 6.1 is better.

6.1 is the latest. Restore to that while you can.

I believe he meant "What if apple releases 6.1.1" and yes, you should update. it is always best to stay up to date if you're not jailbroken. But make sure you update from iTunes and NOT from your iPad.

You can update via OTA. Just it doesn't save the correct type of SHSHes on your device so that you can restore to 6.1 again when a downgrade method is released.

Update it to 6.1 if you want to stay updated.
