How to fix some mysterious problems.

ok so i have a Ipod touch 5th generation on 6.0.1 and this is the first time i'm going to try jailbreaking. so lets say i don't like it, is there anyway i can remove the jailbreak without restoring (losing my data) because i have like 15gb of really precious stuff lol, like photos and videos and i don't want to lose them. so can i like make a backup before then if i don't like it restore it from that backup? (sorry im a noob i feel like this is going to be a obvious yes or obvious no) :P ok but thank you :)

If you back up from itunes (Do a full back up if possible, not over iCloud) first, then go ahead and jailbreak. If you don't like it, then just restore to that back up. Nothing should be lost as long as the backup finishes.
