How to fix some mysterious problems.

I apologize if this question has been asked before. But how can i restore all cydia packages and tweaks after jailbreaking device. Some of the repos/resources i deleted because i was getting error messages when cydia finished loading. but i dont remember what they were called, nor where i had found them, for my Cydia tweaks. Question is Is there anyway or Cydia tweak that will back up my Cydia apps and tweaks so that they can easily be restored after jailbreak without having to go seraching for them again? and if there is can someone explain to me how to do it? Thanks. by the way i have iphone 4 running iOS 6.0.1

I remembered there surely is a tweak in Cydia can help you backup all the tweaks. But it only backup the address of the tweak in Cydia Store, all your personal settings will be lost. The name of the tweak is AptBackup. There are PKGBackup and xBackup can help you target the goals as well.

JailbreakQA's guide to backup tools says:

Note: be cautious with automatically restoring packages if you are upgrading your device between major iOS versions (such as from iOS 5 to iOS 6) - it's best to reinstall packages manually in that case, since many packages are likely to be incompatible. You should check each package to make sure it's compatible (by looking at package descriptions in Cydia), or else you'll end up in Safe Mode.

The basic method is: backup your packages using one of these methods, upgrade, jailbreak again, and restore your packages using your chosen method. For complete details on all of those steps, see this FAQ answer. To pick a backup method, keep reading.

The simplest method is just to open up Cydia, go to Manage -> Packages, and write down your list of packages. To email yourself a list instead of writing them down, you can use AppInfo from Cydia (free). After restoring, go through your list and reinstall them.

or just take a screen shot of the list and manually re-install the tweaks.

awesome thanks you. im only gonna be upgrading to 6.1 from 6.0.1. But having a list and installing each one would be much better. I dont want to end up in safe mode and then have to uninstall each package to find out which one is having compatability issues. thank you so much. britta.
