How to fix some mysterious problems.

I restored my iphone 4 on 2.10.04 and 4.2.1 to custom 4.2.1 with pwnage tool and i have no service and no wifi afterwards and im legitimately on AT&T. its like my phone is an ipod now. and i cant restore to stock firmware with tinyumbrella cause i keep getting error code 1013 and tinyumbrella wont kick it out of recovery.

Hmm, I'd try again. I have an iPhone 4 on 4.2.1, restored with PwnageTool and have had no problems with wifi/service.

ok tried like 15 times with new firmware directly from apple to restore to. i cant restore and keep my baseband unless i go to 4.1 then 4.2.1 for some reason. the mach0 hacks pod2g implemented come in book sequence that restore somehow interferes with.. if you dont believe me i will gladly take screen shots.

TU won't kick you out off error 1013, use GP instead. Its works. Guide on TU website (how to preserve bb....) start on step #9.
