You either need to downgrade the iOS version or wait until Ultrasn0w or Ultrasn0w Fixer is updated for 6.1.

You should never update to the latest iOS if you require an unlock.

@Curly420 thanks... so that means i cant unlock my iphone as of now??? is there any way to unlock it with ios 6.1???

Not right now. Not with hacks at least.

You can always ask the carrier it's locked to or purchase an IMEI unlock from a reputable vendor. both those options are permanent and don't depend on a jailbreak.

I think your model number will tell. From Settings- General- About on the phone.
