Help with jailbreaking and Cydia for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.

Pangu provides an iOS 9.0 untethered jailbreak. TaiG provides an iOS 8.4 and 8.3 untethered jailbreak.
Check @PanguTeam, @taig_jailbreak, @saurik, and /r/jailbreak for news and updates.
You can use Cydia Impactor if you need to un-jailbreak an 8.1-8.4 device without restoring.

How to fix some mysterious problems.

The way I see it, apple could allow you to "unlock" your device and in the process deny all "unlocked" devices hardware or software support. They try to void warranty on jailbroken devices anyway.

Jailbreak and unlock is different. Apple does allow unlocks, they sell unlocked iPhones. Not sure what you mean.

I meant jailbreak, they would likely not endorse the term "jailbreak" would instead use a similar term to unlock

Apple doesn't like/support jailbreaking because the repos aren't moderated by them and the jailbreaks rely on vulnerabilities in the system to be able to disable iOS's code signing requirements, therefore allowing software other than the stock and App Store apps to function.
