How to fix some mysterious problems.

Hi I am new to this process and have some doubts. I have a iphone 4s 16 Factory unlocked phone running on 6.1 can this be jailbroken,

Whats the difference between untethered and tethered jail break? Which one is this? Would my phone work normally after jail break? Or would it get locked,

Untethered means you'll be able to freely power off your device without having to use the boot menu on the redsn0w computer application. Tethered means you'll have to have the device plugged into a computer that has access to the jailbreaking program you used each time you want to power off the device or respring your device.

Yes your iPhone 16G Factory Unlocked iPhone can be jailbroken as long as you update it using the iTunes update option, and not OTA

What is OTA ? So Now I wont have any problem in 3g wifi or any other feature post jailbreaking? Also is it possible to revert jailbreaking?

OTA is Over The Air, a term used for updating iOS versions on the device itself. (instead of using iTunes)

You won't have any 3G/wifi issues and to remove the jailbreak you can restore in itunes at any time.
