No, Jailbreaks and unlocks are different.

Your best option for an unlock is to ask the original carrier or purchase an IMEI unlock from a reputable source.

It means you can have it remotely unlocked permanently by paying for imei unlock service offered by reputable online sites like CutYourSIM, applenberry, and iProService.com.
