How to fix some mysterious problems.

With the release of LTE in Denmark, iOS 6.1 is a usable update for me.

I'm currently at 6.0 and haven't had the courage to attempt to update, in case it would remove my chances of jailbreaking.

I've seen terms as OTA, but I'm not sure what this is.

Can I safely update my iPhone to 6.1? If so, how can I do it while maintaining my jailbreak chances?

Yes. Update using iTunes, but not OTA. If you want to be really safe, backup and restore in iTunes.

OTA = Settings > General > Software Update
