Help with jailbreaking and Cydia for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.

Question

my i pod touch 4g is already tethered jailbroken using red snow and it is running on ios 6.0.1 ...so should i upgrade to ios 6 and do the untethered jailbreak or just plug in my ipod when the untethered jailbreak comes out and it will do the rest??

The jailbreak will work on all 6.x versions. Upgrading is optional.

@spockers I'm not sure whether this jailbreak will be able to untether already-jailbroken-tethered devices - I haven't seen any public information available about that yet.
