How to fix some mysterious problems.

I recently jailbroke my phone on iOS 6.0.1 and every time I try to go to the "settings" on my iPhone it keeps crashing 100% of the time. What should I do?

Apps that were supposed to boost the performance of my device like signal booster and wifi booster and a few other ones to but not of importance

Try the FAQ's guide to solving mysterious problems:

First try rebooting your device, just in case the problem was a temporary glitch.

If the problem persists, try putting your device in Safe Mode (using the "Power" button in SBSettings) - this disables all tweaks. If things seem fine in Safe Mode, try temporarily uninstalling some of your tweaks to find the one(s) causing the problem.

Another option is to try booting with Substrate disabled (hold the "up" volume button while booting) and see if things work. If things seem fine, you can also suspect that a tweak is causing the problem. Reboot again to go back into normal mode.

Tips: Check your packages to make sure they're compatible with your iOS version - look them up in Cydia to see if their package pages include compatibility notes. Also make sure your packages are from legitimate sources such as BigBoss, Cydia/Telesphoreo, ModMyi, and ZodTTD/MacCiti - because pirated packages frequently cause problems.

you have to "just boot" after jailbreaking.

you probably didnt do that, you're tethered. if you did my bad.

and tethered jailbreak will often act differently for all phones when the jailbreak is disabled (battery died or you were forced to reset or you just didnt hit "just boot") when mine falls into the unjailbroken mode cydia apps will cease to operate but official apple apps (settings, phone, safari) continue to operate.

using redsnow extras > just boot

In general, a device with a tethered jailbreak that hasn't been booted tethered will either get stuck at the Apple logo while booting or will boot up with all stock apps working except Mail and Safari. Settings app crashes aren't part of tethered jailbreak symptoms.

oh i thought they all acted differently. my brothers 4s tethered nothing would run not even the phone when his battery died, one of the reasons he asked me to remove it.

Maybe you mean an iPhone 4? The iPhone 4S has no tethered jailbreaks since there are no bootrom (low-level) exploits available for it. In any case, see this FAQ answer about tethered jailbreaks for more details about "semi-tethered" jailbreaks.
